Switching from ACF Theme Code
ACF Theme Code and ACF Theme Code Pro, by Hookturn, show the PHP that displays your ACF fields. Antwork Field Code does the same job for ACF and Secure Custom Fields, and its Pro adds Repeater, Flexible Content, Gallery, Clone and options pages. If your theme relies on the last four rows, keep ACF Theme Code Pro for those field groups.
How to switch
- Install and activate Antwork Field Code from WordPress.org: Plugins > Add New, search for "Antwork Field Code".
- Deactivate ACF Theme Code. Open any field group: the Field Code box under its settings shows the code for each covered field, and "All fields" gives the whole template.
- For Repeater, Flexible Content, Gallery, Clone and options pages, add the Pro: $49 a year before VAT, unlimited sites.
The snippets already in your templates call ACF's own functions, such as get_field() and the_field(), so they keep working after the switch: a code generator is only needed while you write templates.
